Remembering Our Roots Farm & Photography is a long time vision coming to life. With over a decade of photography experience and finding the love in raising our children among gardens and animals, we are ready to share our passions with others while bringing families and nature together. As a family, we have built our farm from the ground up and still continue to grow and expand.
Something close to our hearts is providing animals a second chance at life. Our journey with this began with 21 chickens. To see their transformation was truly rewarding and it planted the seed in our hearts to make a difference in helping more animals in the future. Little did we know, that would end up being a beautiful Palomino horse named Candy. When you book a photography experience with us, you and your family will be directly impacting the well-being of our current and future animals in need; making a difference in the lives of the special souls we have come to love and providing hope for more to come.

Preparing for your visit
What type of outfits would be best for my family and I?
Please make sure your family is comfortable. A toddler wearing a scratchy sweater that looks good but does not feel good is no fun for anyone! Coordinating outfits with neutral tones always looks nice. Most importantly- BE YOU!
What should I wear on my feet?
Appropriate outdoor footwear for grassy and soft ground.
Heels are not recommended.
Can our dog come too?
Yes! Furry family members are permitted as long as they are leashed around farm animals and other people. If your dog is not on a flea and tick medication, it is not recommended that they join you. Don't forget your poop bags :)
Should I bring and wear bug repellent?
Yes, there are all sorts of fun creatures out here. Please ensure that you and your family are wearing bug repellent and ALWAYS check everyone over for ticks when you leave.
I am so excited! When will I receive my photos?
You have just left our farm and can't wait to take a look at your beautiful smiles! We get that! You should receive your proof gallery within a week. From there you will then be in charge of picking your final images to be polished up. Once you have done that we try our best to have your final images returned no later than 2-3 weeks depending on queue times.
